Zambrero - Holbrook

Zambrero offers a consistent experience no matter where you go. This particular rural location serves vegan cheese and sour cream, and the staff provide excellent service.

The dining experience was enjoyable, although we were initially concerned about the slightly creepy appearance of the work station and some limited food choices. However, both my wife and I were satisfied with our meals. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant could have been better, but I believe that is the responsibility of a third party.

The burrito and bowl were delicious and generously portioned. It would have been helpful to have an extra staff member during the busy lunch rush, but I still recommend stopping by this restaurant.

The customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor. On a public holiday, there is only one staff member to serve 25 customers, resulting in slow service when taking orders.

Normally really love Zambrero but the black rice was completely raw and inedible (I'm unsure how this even happens and can see it mentioned across a few reviews). Would have returned but passing through and now past closing time.
