Mesa Italiana - Holbrook

Amazing find along Route 66. We hadn't read the other reviews before going in, but the full parking lot said it must be popular. Great service from Beatrice and all the servers. They apologized that our 2nd helping of bread was delayed a few minutes because it was in the oven. Gotta love the homebaked bread delay! The lasagna and cheese ravioli were great. The red wine selection was excellent. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Waitress friendly and efficient. I had chicken parmesan,, my wife had eggplant parmesan. Salad and garlic bread good. Main dishes were very good and came with small side of spaghetti. Had spumoni for dessert. All in all, reasonably priced excellent dinner.

We recently dined at Mesa Italiana and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the dishes were served hot and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the chicken cacciatore, and the Caesar salad was fantastic as well. The restaurant's old school, Route 66 style building added to the charm of the dining experience. I highly recommend Mesa Italiana for delicious Italian cuisine and a great atmosphere.

The calamari was a little spicy for me however my husband loved it.

Wow. I pass through Holbrook all the time and never stop. That changed today. The Calamari fra Diavolo was superb. Ask for lots of bread and soak up the sauce. Added a little pasta pomodoro, a salad and a glass of Chianti. I will return on my next trip through.
