Amazing collection of antiques! The flautas were delicious and the wine excellent! Really nice staff!
If I could give it fewer stars I would. Everything about this place sucks.
Everything about this place was high priced with minimal serving of food. Dehydrated beans were served cold and still dry. Cheese enchiladas were also cold with small amounts of cheese with a sprinkle of cheese on top. Also, enchiladas were served without enchilada sauce. Flys were unbearable, tables were dirty, and the waitress never came over to check on us. We had to walk up to the counter to get refills. The restroom toilet did not flush. Good luck eating here.
I stopped in with my three young girls after an appointment. One of the three girls is a baby, so she didn't have a meal. My one year old wasn't offered a high chair. We ordered a burger, Navajo Taco, hotdog w/ chips, and water. Our total was 53.00 including a automatic 15% tip. I'm a former server and normally tip 25% but I found it rude that I was the only one with the forced gratuity. The other non-native customers had checks that didn't have gratuity enforced. I know this because I glanced at their checks placed on their tables. Their tables were also bigger, with adults. I also seen checks by the register that were paid, and didn't have a gratuity added on. So this must have been because I was a native american. For that I paid the 15% they wanted instead of the 25% I would normally have given. Definetly won't be back, if they can't trust me to pay my bill, and tip at the same time. They sell Native American Jewelry, and Navajo Tacos (which was a big seller when we were dining) in the establishment, and yet wouldn't trust me to be a good customer. There was also no sign anywhere saying tips, or service charges will be automativally added onto the checks. Normally automatic gratuity or service charges usually happens with larger parties of at least 5-6 more. Also, paying customers are made aware prior through verbal communication, notices, or signs. As a former server I would never force anyone to tip me, especially based off their race. If I was enforcing a gratutiy policy, I would allow my customers to know prior so it don't look like I'm just taking from them. The food wasn't worth the price. I grew up eating here with my parents as a kid, but now I'll just keep to places who treat me the same as the other customers, not singled out based on race or for just being a mom.
Great stop to get some enchiladas! Friendly ppl too.
