Walter's Basin - Holderness

We had a fantastic dinner experience, both with the menu and the service. We began our evening at the bar with a beautiful view of the water, which was a lot of fun, before moving upstairs to the restaurant for dinner.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! We ordered a diverse selection of dishes to share, and every one of them was wonderful.

This restaurant was the only option in Holderness for a nicer dinner. We had almost no wait (there were three of us), and our table by the window offered a stunning view of the lake. We ordered the seafood paella, half a crispy duck, and the steak tip salad. Both the duck and paella were exceptional, while the salad was just okay. We came back the following night and enjoyed the experience just as much! The staff was friendly and helpful too!

We went here for two nights in a row. We were seated at the window tables that oversee the little squam lake. The dishes were very delicious. We ordered the seafood paella, crispy half duck, and steak tip salad.

The best lobster roll I've had. My hubby had the Haddock Sandwich. It was great. We sat at a table in the bar area. Awesome views of Squam Lake.
