We tried a variety of dishes from the menu, including a Philly cheese sandwich for me, two tacos for my wife, fried crayfish, a huge patty cheeseburger, a catfish basket, fried chicken wings, and another dish that I can't recall. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the service was friendly and prompt. We feel fortunate to have such a good restaurant nearby for a satisfying meal.
Upon entering Amanda's welcoming and cozy establishment, I was impressed by the beautiful wooden décor that stretched from the floor to the ceiling behind the bar. Despite appearances from the outside, the interior was inviting. I was pleased to be able to enjoy my drink without any issues when I opened my own bag of chips - a good start. When I requested something not on the menu, sweet potato fries, the staff not only agreed but also offered me brown sugar and butter to dip them in. Surprised but excited, I tried this delicious combo for the first time. Despite some concerns about the clientele, I found a diverse group of customers and friendly staff members who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was inviting and the bartender, Amanda, had a warm and welcoming personality that put me at ease. The service from the cook and bartender Felony Melanie was also commendable. Although I was intrigued by Amanda's beauty, I could see that she was already taken. Despite this, she allowed me to vape at the bar and even let me change the TV channel to watch my favorite Krav Maga show. The price for three Coronas, sweet potato fries, and caramel sauce was much lower than I would have expected in my hometown of San Diego - a great value for the quality of the experience. Overall, I was highly impressed by the atmosphere, staff, service, and value at Amanda's and would give it a solid 5-star rating. I hope they consider opening a location in my new town so that I can recommend it to my guests at the hotel. Well done, Amanda and team!
