Probably my favorite restaurant in downtown Hollywood. Their specials of the day are always delicious and the service is always excellent. Great place to get drinks too especially when Marco is serving up his spectacular cocktails.

Nice place. Good ambience. Good service. Friendly staff. Very accommodating and attentive. As for the food, some things were delicious, and others were not. Ordered the Garlic bread, Calamari, Casarecce, Pappardelle, and the Tiramisu. The garlic bread did not taste like garlic and was not worth the money. The Calamari were good, but I was surprised that they were covered in sauce. Some people are not big on sauce. Also there was lots of breading. Definitely expected more calamari for the price. The Casarecce pasta was DELICIOUS and sublime. It is one of the reasons I would go back and try other dishes. The Pappardelle with duck was very disappointing. Very dry and flavorless. Had to add salt, pepper, and cheese. Apparently, the duck is braised and all the fat is removed. Don't order this dish if you want that rich duck flavor. The tiramisu was good, but the strawberry garnish was bitter. I highly suggest the chef try the ingredients before putting them on a dish or dessert. Also, stick to foods that are in season for better taste.

Food is fabulous and service is excellent. Must try if in the area. We found it last year when visiting Hollywood and visited it again this year. Did not disappoint.

My company hosted a 15 person party at Carmela's on their outdoor patio. We had a excellent time and loved the service, food and experience. I would highly recommend!I also came a second time by myself for dinner and sat at the bar. The food and service were great!
