The fries were okay and the fried snapper tasted a bit raw, like not enough lemon or not soaked in vinegar prior to cooking. The quantity was decent enough for the price. I paid $25 and was full. It also came with a mini cup of Mac n cheese, but I don 't do cheese so I offered it to these nice ladies also waiting for their food. nIf I see them at another event and they are the only food available I might go back if I 'm hungry enough. Other than that it 's a no for me. n3 stars for quantity and food being edible without making me sick.
Like taking a trip to Italy. This well rated Sardinian restaurant has (almost) everything. The wine was fantastic both the Italian white wines we had to start with our appetizers, and the Sardinian Syrah/Grenache/Cabernet (a GSC instead of a GSM). The anchovy salad to start was a delicious combination of flavors, and the squid were yummy as well. The bottarga spaghetti is highly rated for good reason. It is a unique and delicious combination of flavors. The place seems to be run as a family affair, and they were very pleasant. My four starts instead of five are because of seating (immediately next to the door, when loads of other tables were open) and prices. Very high quality, no doubt, but a bit above even FL. pricing for appetizers and main courses.
Just has this food at a re past and it was excellent ?
I came to FHFH for a birthday and used Google waitlist feature to put myself on the waitlist ahead of time. I am really glad I did because I noticed the folks that came immediately after me had an hour wait. I was seated shortly upon checking-in. The interior is classic looking with a great view of the water. I tried a seafood platter that came with shrimp, sausage, crab, mussels and clam. I also tried the award-winning clam chowder, and their fish special of the day. I opted for the clam chowder in a regular bowl rather than the bread bowl. It had a great flavor to it and was definitely one of the best clam chowders I have had. I like that their menu had a lot of photos. For the dessert menu, they bring out a giant platter with the desserts themselves that act as models for you to choose from. I tried a bread pudding and tiramisu. The tiramisu was spectacular and was something I 'd definitely order again. The seafood tasted fresh. I think I would have preferred the cold/iced seafood platter over the hot one that I got. This place is located on the super popular Pier 39. There 's a parking lot across the street where you can pay to park. Our server was quick and efficient. He took our orders without paper or pen. This is a great location for a special occasion. It is often very crowded so reservations would be a great idea.
I ordered food from Gns last week Friday while on a trip in Florida. My order was accepted and money taken. Still too this day I have not received any food or my money $120.00 dollars. The owner said on the phone he was never opened that day and he was at an event. Because of this I’m never using DoorDash again. They claiming I need to wait up to 10 days. I have received orders and refunds from DoorDash in the pass faster and no problem.
