I asked for bacon on my sandwich at the time the man was supposed to start adding my toppings, with a nasty look on his face, he grabbed the bacon and began to talk about me to his manager. his manager laughed and agreed with whatever it was he said, and when my boyfriend asked him what the problem was, he began to threaten us, telling us that if we had a problem with what he was saying he would do something to us, and for my BF to wait for him to get off of work, presumably to try and fight him. I was polite when asking for my bacon (I had no reason to be rude, really). The fact that (the dread-locked employee in question) felt that it would be alright to threaten and harass a customer in front of his manager is disgusting and disheartening. I called subway corporate, and I am supposed to be receiving a call from the owner. Not sure if that will get me anywhere though, because to have a manager who condones such atrocious behavior on her watch has obviously been given the go-ahead to treat paying customers like sh-t. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are a 1000 subways in broward county, don 't go to this one unless you want them to make fun of you to your face for asking them to do their jobs.
I went here to order and take out about seven different subs for employees in our office. I was barking out the different subs and the server was patient and gets everything right. They also rang it up correctly. Our staff enjoyed the subs.
I'm usually more of a Publix Deli person, but when I feeling particularly lazy and want a sub I'll usually hit the Subway. The food is typical of any Subway, but it's the service that makes the difference. The people are always very friendly, and the line is always moving. So, don't be discouraged and turn away if you see a long line because it's going to move pretty quickly and you know you'll have a pleasant experience once it's your turn to order.
Veggies on wheat with mustard provide a welcome respite from alternative fare. This Subway location is especially convenient for take-out. Nearby enterprises range from an AMC Theater and Starbucks to Publix, Dollar Tree, and Bed, Bath Beyond.
