Tardes Calenas Bar Restaurant

The service was a little slow but very friendly. We were just checking the place out so we ordered small plates. I ordered the Chicharron con Arepa. That was good chicharron. It came with a small arepa. The Morcilla con Arepa tasted good. It was like ablood sausage with a white little arepa. I liked the empanadas. We were able to order different ones to try. They were nice andcrispy. The cheese empanadas were my favorite. The tres leches were not so good. It tasted as if it was left uncovered in thefridge and it had absorbed the flavor of something else. The restaurant has a happy hour. I got her around the time.I got ahalf-off Margaritas. It was a good drink. The restaurant has plenty of street parking. A parking garage is near.

When I say I couldn?t stop eating the food once I started, I mean it. Exactly what I was craving. Good service, especially LEIDY!! She was awesome.

The restaurant really needs more servers; the service speed is quite inconsistent. They were eager to take our order almost immediately after we sat down, even before we had a chance to look at the menu. However, when it was time to get the bill, no one acknowledged us. We literally sat there trying to flag down a server. As for the drinks, I found them lackluster—I ordered a piña colada, and it didn’t taste good at all. I waited 30 minutes just to get the server’s attention, and by the time we finally did, I had lost all interest in my drink. Still, they insisted on giving us a new one. At that point, I just wanted to pay and leave! If you have plenty of time to spare, you might enjoy this place, but if you have other commitments, it may not be the best choice.

Delicious Colombian food at 3 AM on a Saturday night! The place was bustling with a range of Latin music, but we were fortunate to find a spot outside. Our food was fresh and served hot.

The restaurant is quite spacious and offers outdoor seating. The service was prompt and attentive! We thoroughly enjoyed the seared fish, plantains, empanadas, and steak. The seared fish was especially delightful, with a wonderful crispy texture. The interior of the restaurant is also roomy. Overall, it offers great value, and we absolutely loved the food!
