Palumbo Pizza - HOLMDEL

I met my friend halfway between where we visited every Wednesday nights for the last year and we finally visited Palumbo! We both agree that it is our new favorite and go to the meeting place. The staff was personal and the food was delicious. He brought half the eggplant parm home because the portions are so large. He's a cook, and he rarely brings all the remains home, so that's a compliment. I had cooked a very good rice ball differently than I had before. I had a salad and the best escarole and bean soup I ever had. Yummy! We'll be back soon to try other decisions.

My granddaughter who turned eight wanted her birthday party in her favorite pizza restaurant Palumbo's. But when my daughter went to make arrangements for my granddaughter and some of her classmates, she was told that she couldn't have the party there because all the kids would drive away other customers. As a family we usually eat there once a week, but after this incident our family will take our business elsewhere. My granddaughter asked me why the owner would not leave the party there and I told her that this is what Gier experiences in life. We as a family will never come back to this institution. Lesson in life for my granddaughter.

My parents came here in November 2022 for the 33rd anniversary dinner. They were not well treated after they charged a $4 for garlic and oil on their last bill. After waiting for 45 minutes to repair the entrance and remove this additional fee (an additional fee for ingredients???, my mother asked again about it and a guy was very, very rude to her. You wouldn't give her a copy of the updated bill, and the exact words from that guy to my mother were? You look like you? Give me a break.

Family has ordered from there for at least 3 years. Ordered a medium with sausage and pepper as well as a large pepper. Leave $5 on order and give the driver $5 cash when they are here. My order was $49.70 before I added the tip. I wanted to ask, we didn't raise the price of pizza, just blows. He told me $6 per topping, delivery fee, use of the direct debit. Right from Naples new owners. $32?

Ordered pepperoni pie and chicken parm.. SALT BOMB. Put aside I requested Crispy Crust and pizza was flimsy, flavor ok but loaded with salt. Chicken parm not tenderize enough so chicken was thick and tough and mozzarella was barely melted. $45 for a pie and entree, expect food to be prepared marginally well but alas, this was an overall salty experience with poorly cooked food
