However, the service was so bad at the point that I had to go to the counter to ask for things we never get, and my omelet was so over boiled that it was brown and tasted like a sponge. It is a beautiful interior and the food of my father was great, so the 3 stars. I just can't stand over like the cook thought it was okay to serve someone like a rough plate of burnt eggs, I'm sorry.
At first try this restaurant. Firstly, pricing is higher than expected. They would expect, not anymore, but better ingredient in it. the Benny?s Benedict shown in my photo is about half portion size) I have never seen a eggs Benedict in a Brunch Square at $19 prices except those in chic hotels and near tourist sites) I personally prefer the traditional version, but still open to innovation and creativity. Honestly, this is a failed attempt. Again, only personal preference). For the waffle it tastes more like a cake. in cake standard, it is very fluffy and soft. But as a waffle it should have a kind of crispy bowl and fluffy inside. Secondly, about 1/3 of the topping fruits has gone bad and obviously they have not checked before they serve them. I think for a gun? that costs $13 I should at least get some fresh fruit. I wanted to give a star, but considering that some people prefer cake-like waffles, I gave him 2 stars. Edit: forget to mention, poached egg is overdone.
It is not very often that your fries still appear crispy, but this time they did it. My salad was soggy, the food is mediocre, not sure if I would spend the money again for quality.
They sat fast because we were ready to sit at the bar. It took 10 minutes to take our order. The latte was lukewarm (at best) with bubbles instead of foam. The fress? Orange juice was from a plastic gallon juice. My chicken and waffles never came. We have said that we are coming now? several times and then finally a thin cut chicken sandwich I never ordered came 40 min after the order. Everyone, including the owner was super nice about it, but unfortunately on a busy day like a holiday Monday, they just don't have the staff to get it right. Maybe? ll try again on a less crowded day.
Great spot for a not-so-typical brunch. An exciting menu and friendly staff made our meal such a good time. Props to our server, Kristen, for bringing an ice bucket to cool out champagne before we even had to ask. Highly recommend!
