The Lawns - HOLT

Honestly, our time at The Lawns was not very good. The restaurant was cold, my husband didn't receive his cauliflower cheese, and my fries were too crispy. However, we enjoyed The Goat's Cheesecake and The Burger. It would have been nice if they had Wi-Fi available for customers.

The food was good, but we felt it was too expensive. Our reservation was for 8pm and we had finished three courses by 9.15. The service was very fast. The wine was decent, but could have been colder. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The new owners have made significant improvements to this establishment, transforming it from a pub to a proper restaurant. During our visit on a quiet Monday lunchtime, we found the menu to be concise yet intriguing, and the food was well-presented and delicious. We plan on returning again soon and are excited to get to know the staff better and experience even better service.

All the staff are very friendly. Even in these times you feel safe. Food is always delicious and cooked fresh.
