Absolutely brilliant – the historical buildings have been beautifully restored, creating a stunning landscape for walking. The skilled craftsmen demonstrate various crafts, showcasing traditional tools and techniques. There are plenty of restrooms available, a lovely café, and friendly staff throughout the venue.

We had a fantastic family day! It's hard to believe that such a peaceful rural setting is so close to Belfast, the capital. The quiet walks are just a short drive away from the city. The living historical characters really brought our visit to life, and the kids absolutely loved it. It helped them understand and appreciate the lives our grandparents led. For those of us in our late 30s and early 40s, it was nostalgic to recall our grandparents' childhoods. And the scents! They brought back wonderful memories. The hands-on experiences were great, and the charming old-fashioned sweet shop kept the kids entertained until the end of our visit. There's also a nice gift shop, though a bit pricey, and a very good café. We would definitely come back again, and there's plenty of free parking available.

I loved this place as a child, and now as an adult, I’ve brought my own kids here. It's an amazing spot with incredibly friendly staff, and there's so much more to enjoy that has been added over the years. It was a beautiful day and the perfect place to visit on a summer afternoon!

Has what it says on the dose. great place to get a look in another time. well maintained and a nice way to approach everything. instead of everything that is pushed into the smallest space, they enjoy a quiet walk as they explore the different buildings and work places.
