Fritz Creek General Store - Homer

There is a small sandwich shop located within this food/post office/petrol station. The food was really delicious. We tried the Italian, Aubergine, and Brisket sandwiches, and they were all great. Also, make sure to get a side of her coleslaw—it’s amazing!

Public reviews definitely serve a purpose, and it's true that employees can have an off day... but so can customers. Based on my experience, I can confidently say that this is one of the best places to eat in the Homer area. It's also a great spot to gather with friends and neighbors.

The Loaded Veggie sandwich is delicious, especially when served on fresh bread. I highly recommend making your way to the end of the road to try their freshly baked dessert—it’s definitely worth it. The restaurant has an authentic Homer vibe, which adds to the experience. I’ve also heard great things about the Brisket Sandwich, which is supposed to be fantastic!

Enjoy a delicious eggplant sandwich made with a bunch of delicious ingredients. The woman who prepared it gave me the dressing on the side when we did it for a picnic later on the day. Also the vegetable sandwiches with Bratbeef were excellent. My husband bought the apricots and pistachios Rugelach for breakfast, which was so delicious that I landed to share it.
