Salmon Dawgs - Homer

This place has been processing and shipping Homer's sport fish for decades. They also retail locally caught seafood if you'd rather just eat it. Fresh Kachemak Bay oysters are not to be missed.

We had our fish processed at coal point in August of 2015. Everything went smoothly, and most importantly our fish arrived home in great shape, with no broken seals! The oysters are pretty darn good too!

Can't believe this place is not being reviewed! The most amazing seafood chowder, halibut taco, salmon dip and halibut dip! It is a simple bar setting but the food is out of this world!

We dropped in for a warm bowl of seafood chowder, which was just what we needed on a chilly day. They also offer frozen seafood that you can have shipped. Our server, Brandi, was one of the nicest people we've ever met. We spent some time chatting with her about her life in Alaska. Even if you don't come for the chowder, you should come for the wonderful company. The people here are truly great!

I did not receive my frozen fish delivery overnight as I paid for, and the fish on top along with one side had thawed. Additionally, the skin was not completely removed despite paying extra for that service. I have called multiple times and am told that the manager will get back to me, but I have yet to hear from anyone. I also paid for insurance, but I'm having no luck with that either.
