Subway - Homer

The sandwiches made for my mom, my husband, and me were poorly assembled. They weren't fully wrapped, and some weren’t cut all the way through – it felt chaotic. My second visit was no better. I tried to remain patient and smile, grateful they were making my sandwiches because I was really hungry. However, the soda machine was malfunctioning; the drinks were flat, had little syrup, and tasted incredibly watered down. It was so frustrating that I chose not to say anything out of fear of being mistreated by the staff, and I just wanted to leave. The overall vibe was off, with a very limited selection of chips – only 3 or 4 options available. The employees came across as bossy and unapproachable, making us feel like an inconvenience for simply ordering food. When we finally got home to eat our sandwiches, we discovered that the bread was burnt. We ate them anyway because we were so hungry, washing them down with the poorly made drinks. The only decent thing was the chips, which weren't even made by Subway! I would rate this place one out of five stars and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I doubt I'll return to this stressful environment again. If you're looking for a better option, I suggest going to McDonald's – it’s cheaper and much more enjoyable than spending $33 on two footlongs and drinks!

It's Subway; you know what to expect. Just a heads up, the staff doesn't have a good handle on condiment control. If you ask for mustard, be prepared for a half-gallon of it, no exceptions. I highly recommend using the packets of mustard, mayo, oil, and vinegar by the soda machine instead. I know this might sound a bit trivial, but think about it... you’ve crafted the perfect BMT, with just the right amount of veggies, your bread perfectly toasted, and your mouth watering in anticipation. Then, out of nowhere, your light mayo and mustard turn into a disgusting, soupy mess that oozes from what’s now a soggy, sad excuse for a sandwich.

The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the staff worked swiftly and efficiently.
