Voodoo Brewing Co. Homestead Pub

I love this restaurant, but unfortunately, it is currently closed. I reached out to the owners, and it's uncertain whether this closure is temporary or permanent. I really hope it's just temporary, but given the high costs and limited availability of labor these days, I'm definitely concerned. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, the entertainment was enjoyable, and, most importantly, the beer was fantastic. This place was a wonderful asset to Homestead, and I truly hope they return. Food rating: 5.

We couldn’t find any food at the place we intended to go, as the garage doors were closed. So, we decided to check out Golden Age Beer Co. instead. They had everything we were looking for—lots of patrons, delicious food, and live music. Here are my ratings: Food: 1, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3.

The beer here is fantastic! It can be a bit noisy, but that’s manageable. There aren’t any wait staff, which is fine—you're expected to line up to place your order and then pick up your food yourself. It's not a hassle at all.

It's a lively spot with a great atmosphere. However, the kitchen always seems to be closed. They do host some fantastic events, though. Plus, they offer the $10 Good Vibes beer—how wild is that?

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, I attended a local concert at Voodoo Brewing in Homestead, PA. The performance space was very small and far too loud for comfort. However, what truly shocked me was my bill! For three draft beers of their take on a West Coast IPA, served in plastic cups that weren’t even filled to the brim, I was charged a staggering $32.79 — and that’s before the tip! When the bartender handed me the check, I expressed my disbelief by saying, “But I only had three cups of beer?!?” She shot me a dirty look and replied, “That’s average for a brewpub.” I can confidently say that I will never pay that much for average beer served in plastic cups again.
