Voodoo Brewing Co. Homestead Pub

I love this place, but unfortunately it has closed for the time being. I contacted the owners and it is unclear if this closure is temporary or permanent. I sure hope that it is temporary, but in these days of a very expensive and limited labor force, I am definitely worried. Good food at decent prices, good entertainment, and most importantly, great beer. This place was such a wonderful addition to Homestead. I hope that they come back.

No food. Garage doors closed. Went around the corner to Golden Age Beer Co. They had it all. Lots of people, good food, live music.

OVER PRICED AVERAGE BEER On Thursday, June 8, 2023 I attended a local concert at Voodoo Brewing in Homestead, PA. Vey small performance space and way too loud for anyone 's ears. But, what really floored me was when I went to pay my bill! 3 draft beers of their version a a West Cost IPA served in a PLASTIC cup which was not filled to the top, and the total for these three average beverages ... $32.79 !!!!! .... before tip. When the bartender handed me my check I said ... But I only had three cups of beer???!!! She gave me a dirty look and said .... That 's average for a brew pub I will NEVER pay that priced for average beer served in a plastic cup again.

Brews, music, and comfy armchairs. This is a sick little spot with beer on tap and 4 packs for sale. They serve food, too (sometimes, often the kitchen closes at 7). The music venue is separate from the bar but is very small and intimate. Pretty fun time in there when there's live music (nice and small so you can meet the band after). The cover charge for entering the music venue was reasonable. Street parking was easy to find, and the beer selection has a little something for everyone (except NA beers, but they do have jarritos and ginger beer)!

I was the first to arrive for the day and the bartender was FANTASTIC!!! Gave me lots of info on the history and artwork around the brewery!! Got to sample a few beers and settled on the brown ale...suburb!!
