I visited today at 1 PM on May 11, 2021, and found it boarded up, indicating that it seems to be permanently closed.
This restaurant is truly disappointing, and the staff is unhelpful. They frequently don't have the items listed on the menu, and they consistently get orders wrong. My girlfriend didn't receive her change, and when she asked about it, the employee at the window was rude. Given all this, it’s a relief to hear they’re closing on May 3rd—hopefully for good.
After getting my COVID shot, I walked back to Wendy's, but the lights were still off. However, I noticed they were taking orders through the drive-thru. I decided to go inside and stood there for about five minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Finally, I spoke to the manager on duty and mentioned my mobile order. He informed me that the dining room was closed and suggested I use the drive-thru. I explained that I had walked there and didn't have a car. The dining area should have been open until 8 PM, and I had placed my order well before 7:30. They struggled to find my order, but after explaining what I had ordered, they prepared it for me. When I got home and started eating, I noticed the bacon on my sandwich was burnt to a crisp. I will never return to this location. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is incredibly disappointing.
Wendy's only serves one customer at a time, which led to a frustrating experience. I waited at the order box for 10 minutes before the staff finally acknowledged my presence. When they finally spoke to me, they just told me to wait. After another 6 minutes, I was able to place my order. When I finally received my food, it was cold. It seems that Wendy's requires customers to wait at the order box until the previous customer has received their food and left the drive-thru. Meanwhile, a long line of cars formed around the building. In total, I waited nearly 45 minutes from entering the drive-thru to receiving my food. I would have chosen another place to eat, but it was quite late.
