Hwy 55 - Homewood

Easy. I liked the burgers because they don't try to dress it as some places do where they are so big, you can't even fit them in your mouth. Good portion sizes and good service. Cheap.

Awesome classic burger joint. Staff was excellent. Shake was amazing. First time in and my server bren knew exactly what I needed before I even had a chance to order. Solid place for a meal out. Would recommend without hesitation.

I just read the review about the couple coming in at closing time. We went at lunch and they weren't busy and it took so long to get my food i was in the process of getting a refund when she said it was almost ready. I told to make it to go as my lunch hour was about up. The burger was bad and by then the chili fries were cold and gross. All three of us were so upset we won't be back. Update: The new Mgr takes reviews very serious. Adrian reached out to us as you see below. We appreciate him doing that so we went back today. We are revisiting Hwy 55 for dinner and I'm glad we did. The new Mgr Adrian has turned this place around with some help of a great staff. He is friendly and helpful. The waitresses are wonderful fast and friendly. I'd take a photo of the food but all that is left is a memory. The philly cheese-steak is wonderful. So go there and enjoy. They get 5 stars now. Please go back or if you haven't been then go asap.

The atmosphere is fun and lively, making it a great spot for my 10-year-old daughter. The burger I had was juicy, and there were plenty of tasty free toppings to choose from. Based on a previous review, I decided to add chili to my burger along with mustard, pickles, and all the grilled vegetable options, and the chili was fantastic! You can even dip your fries in it. The server also made me a special banana and peanut butter shake, which was brilliant. However, the fries seemed to be frozen and not freshly cut. Since I was with a group, I wanted to explore more options. I live nearby, so if I'm craving a burger, I would definitely consider coming back here. The server was excellent—very positive and efficient in explaining the menu. After reflecting on my experience, I came back to update my rating from 3.0 to 3.5. Overall, I had a really good time; I enjoyed myself, and the burger was quite good!

I found the food to be decent for the price. The 'regular' burger is quite small. Thanks to the reviews, I had realistic expectations going in. It feels like a less successful version of Johnny Rockets. However, the custard is amazing! I can't stop thinking about when I can go back for more.
