Old Mill Tavern - HOMOSASSA

This is a lively local spot! The band on Friday night was great, and people were dancing under the twinkling lights. Both the French dip sandwich and the wings were delicious. Just a heads up about the "suicide" wings—they're so spicy that they actually require a waiver! Our son, who loves super hot wings, was really impressed.

I had lunch at the restaurant on Friday, and it was quite empty. The waitress was both funny and pleasant. The food, as always, was excellent, but when it arrived, it was truly amazing! Everyone enjoyed it.

I had a very delicious drink! I'm not a fan of alcohol, so I prefer beverages with a mild flavor. The bar was lovely and included Grenadine and cherries, which made it even better.

Not a fish person, but thought while trying in Florida, and that's the best fish I've ever had in my life. Tried the shrimp cat fish and cod all amazing flaky

Update... I Stopped by to try the Prime rib special which I ordered rare. I'll let the photo do the talking about the prime rib. The fries were hot, crispy and plentiful and the beer was icy cold. Original review: November 2018 I stopped for lunch and was not disappointed. Chicken wings were really good! Too often I've ordered wings that were dry chewy from being overcooked. Not here: the wings were well prepared and tasty. Hot sauce was hot yet not overpowering. They have an outside seating area so I was able to enjoy my meal al fresco with my dog. Service was fine, staff friendly. Great place with a distinctly local feel.
