Contribuisci feedbackWe stopped for an unplanned lunch and we were surprised by a menu that was innovative anchored in basque cuisine. Aritz provided an expert, responsive and friendly service. Behind a tapas bar atmosphere, you will find a surprising sophisticated cuisine.
We went for a drink and the service was awful. Worst experience in Hondarribia. The server did not clean our table and put our drinks roughly down and was unhelpful with my initial drink question (I speak Spanish). There are much friendlier bars and restaurants in this area to spend your time and money on.
(ENG) Hondarribia, one of the most special area in the Basque Country, here is famous with its historical texture before its cuisine. But Rafael honors the city with wonderful Pintxo and Ración options. Although there are many places on San Pedro Avenue, Rafael will be my first suggestion. Kokotxas de Bacalao (made from cod fish cheek) and Pulpo y Txipiron (octopus and sepia calamari) are incredible hot dishes. Except for the hot Pintxos, they have heady cold Pintxos especially prepared with fresh crab and fishes in the bar. The freshness and flavor of the crab is impeccable. Next to the Pintxos and Tapas, I always prefer and strongly suggest Rioja wines. Very harmonious and non-suppressing balance. Averagely hot Pintxos € 4, and cold options € 2-2,5. . Ancak Rafael, Pintxo ve Ración seçenekleriyle muhteşem şehri adeta onurlandırıyor. San Pedro Caddesinde birçok mekan olmasına rağmen sizlere tartışmasız ilk önerim Rafael olacak. Bacalao yanağından yapılan ‘Kokotxas de Bacalao’ ve ahtapotla, farklı bir çeşit kalamardan meydana gelen muhteşem lezzet Pulpo y Txipiron kusursuz tabaklar. Sıcak Pintxo’lar haricinde barda yer alan yengeçle ve balıkla hazırlanmış soğuk Pintxo’larda baş döndürücüler. Özellikle yengecin tazeliği ve lezzeti çarpıcı. Pinxto ve Tapas seçeneklerinin yanında tercihim ve önerim genellikle Rioja şarapları. Oldukça uyumlu ve lezzeti bastırmayan dengeye sahip. Sıcaklar ortalama €4, soğuklar €2-2,5.
Bar popular y animado con un personal trabajador y alegre. En primer lugar encontré el vino local txakolina y lo disfruté mucho. Todas las tapas que comimos estaban buenas, especialmente me gustó la panceta de cerdo, muy crujiente. ¡Observe realmente los precios atractivos en comparación con Francia! Hondarribia es mucho mejor que Hendaya como lugar para visitar también.
