Pizza Gino - Honfleur

Great view, but all the other places have the same one. Pizza was 15 euro and not great. Service was fine.

Fell for the tourist trap here. Had a desire for pizza so this seemed like a nice place to go and sit by the water to enjoy an evening meal. We ordered 2 soft drinks, a starter to share and 2 pizzas. The drinks came about 5 minutes later, to the tune of 8 euros! 40 minutes on from this we still had no starters. I mentioned it to a waitress who awkwardly laughed. At this point I was fed up so we asked for the bill for the drinks so we could leave. They had the cheek to insist we had been given our starter, which we had not. Eventually we managed to just pay for the drinks. Normally we check trip advisor before eating anywhere, but this time we didn't and it served as a bitter reminder of why we do.

We visited on a busy bank holiday weekend and turned up on spec. Service was not great and the food equally was not great. Expensive for what it is. I don't think the waiter was listening as we did not get what we ordered exactly. The food was OK, but overpriced and nothing special. We are used to consistent good food and service in this area of France. But this place we found was an exception. There must be much better within a 5 minute walk, effort worth making.
