Dinner in bouchon bistro francais was great! after a long day to walk and explore hk, and from the exploration of the SOHO area we decided to try.
I can't tell them how to eat. I just wanted a reservation and the dame tells me that I have to eat in less than an hour to make the table available.
Located in Soho, right next to the mid-level escalator on Elgin Street, this French bistro offers a well-rated weekend brunch set menu with two or three courses. We started with devil eggs and escargots for our appetizers, both of which were delicious. For our main course, we had the pan-seared horseradish salmon and blue mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the overall dining experience was pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant to others looking for a French culinary experience.
I was initially unimpressed, but the set menu at this restaurant surprised me with a variety of delicious dishes. The starters, mains, and desserts had upgrade options to satisfy any taste preference. The escargot was excellent, the Burrata Parma ham salad was beautiful, and the Steak n Frites was perfect. The homemade Bearnaise sauce and fries were impeccable. Despite a slight delay in dessert service, the final course was worth the wait. The attention to detail in every dish was evident. The seating felt a bit cramped, but that's the Hong Kong style for you!
