The pea tea is a must-try! If you leave it long enough you can see the acidity from the lemon slice slowly diffuse through the drink, turning it’s usual blue colour purple then pink. It’s taste isn’t very strong, just smooth and ever so slightly sweet, so the visuals are the main thing going for it. They have a very interesting menu, I mean that as a neutral statement. It is updated every month and a half and is different on weekends and weekdays. They also have an interesting blend of options. I had the salty fish bagel with seaweed, cheese and bell peppers. The salty fish was omnipork and eggplant that seemed to have been marinated and possibly pan fried together. I usually hate eggplant, I hate it’s taste and it’s texture too, however I took a chance on this and it was VERY good. Would recommend. I found the main’s portion sizes are quite sensible. The starters we ordered (soup, bruschetta, sourdough) were all relatively small so won’t spoil your appetite for the rest of the meal, but if you order the salad as a starter you might need someone to share it with because it has a lot of volume. It also has a lot of protein though, containing lentils tofu kidney beans.
The fishy eggplant bagel is a must-have. Point blank. Chewy crispy seaweed bagel from the infamous Little Field bakery paired with the most flavourful eggplants, omnipork, cheeze, nori shreds....can’t even begin to describe how bomb of a combo it is. The red tempeh curry with Konjac noodles was also really well done. The tempeh itself is super chewy and nutty, just like the ones I had in Bali! The sheer variety of veggies SMOTHERED in the best curry stew makes such a hearty dish! Love how they paired it with Konjac noodles too...otherwise, it would’ve given us food coma. Congrats on this incredible soft launch. Can’t wait to see the menu expand — will definitely prove to be one of HK’s more interesting and creative vegan spots. Was thrilled to check this place as some great feedback had heard and was 't disappointed. I tried: red curry mixed veggie tempeh with konjac nudeln from their dinner menu. it was a fairly large part, and tasty with lots of veg. soymilk miso huhn ramen the suppe is so creamy and tasty, and noodles have big bites, not sure what kind of mushroom it used, but I loved that, as well as the tempeh and mock huhn. the apple and cinnamon cake was delicious. service was good and it is in a really central location. dinge to note: they have no alcohol and calculate hkd100 for cork. they really close early at 9 o'clock! cash and payme only updated by previous review on 2021 11 01
Nice vegan spot, I had the ramen bowl, it was delicious and the portion generous, the noodles they used tastes and feels like proper ramen noodles which was chewy and thick. Decent amount of toppings, but wish they brought back the ‘just egg’. The only two negatives I feel needs addressing is the price is expensive, even though there is no service charge. Secondly, when I finished my meal and got up to leave, I was asked to return my tray to the trolley. This I have no issue with, but there is no visible sign or label to inform customers that they are required to do so, which made me feel like I was lacking etiquette, but in fact it was because I had no idea due to a lack of signage. Please make sure there are clear signs for customers if you wish for them to return their own trays.
