I feel bad to give this a 2 stars as a vegetarian restaurant, but unfortunately I really did not enjoy my lunch set. they did not provide an English menu for their lunch menu, so I used google translate and ordered set c (at hkd46) that I would understand would be aubergine (eggplant). what appeared was a kind of extremely chewing mock meat, in a gloopy ketchup-based sauce, with some tomato, few drowned and sweet, and damped rice. I could only eat half of it. it came with a suppe hkd2,) which looked like the typical Chinese suppening, but it just didn't taste much what I had much better. this can be a case of bad order, and there are probably other dishes that are better here, but I can only eat on that I actually eat. Lunch set is very cheap, perhaps the most important menu points are better? a barley dish that someone else ordered from the lunch set looked better. updated by previous review on 2021-11-01
I found her eating fat and not very tasty. it's okay, but nothing special and not very healthy.
Environment: simple, family style, quiet food: traditional Cantonese vegetarian food with no five seasonings. portion is large and most meat eating men find the meals safisfying and taste like a normal carnivore. some foods could be on the oily side as most Chinese sites, so they can tell the servers they want to simply take it on the oil and sauces. they are open between lunch and dinner, which is rare in hongkong. menu points with eggs are marked. her daily suppe is delicious, comes in the regular free with lunch or dinner. service: geniune, friendly, attentive price: low middle class (no 10% service fee)
Simply go family-run restaurant serves Chinese vegetarian versions of classic Chinese comfort eating. when ordering, they need to let them know whether they want a egg or not.
