Aunty Ramen - Honolulu

On my first visit to the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The friendly staff guided us through the ordering process. There was an impressive selection of bins filled with various options, including meats, assorted vegetables, seafood, tofu, and many other ingredients. Our group of four experimented with different types of noodles (the samples available near the register were particularly helpful) and various broths. I especially enjoyed the spicy sour and seaweed broth, but honestly, all the broths were tasty and our meals were served quickly and steaming hot. We also indulged in some delectable ice cream, which came with delightful fruity flavors, boba, tapioca, and cream. The pricing is based on the weight of your chosen ingredients, and there is a convenient scale to measure your selection. I’m definitely looking forward to returning to try more combinations. The bright, clean atmosphere and the friendly service from Raff were definite highlights of our experience!

Incredibly delicious! The aroma wafts all the way from the parking lot, which is often packed. Once inside, grab a table and a basket to gather your desired ingredients for your bowl—just be cautious to take a little less than you think you need, as you still have meat, noodles, and broth to add. Your meal arrives promptly after your basket heads to the kitchen. Dessert is included and offers a refreshing end to what can often be a hefty meal. The staff is polite and attentive, and you might even find an aunt figure checking in on you. I’ll admit I don’t visit often, but I always relish the experience when I do.

I found this place to be outstanding. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly, especially once you become a regular. The prices are very reasonable, and the menu offers a great variety of options. They are also very generous with portion sizes and the speed of service. I'm giving it a 5-star rating and would definitely recommend coming here to eat!

It was my first time here and the staff was very friendly and helpful to show me and my friends how to make our ingredients selections and go through the rest of the production of our rams. First you get as many ingredients as you want and put it in your own basket. The ingredients are all in containers with lids on them in refrigerators. You can go wild if you want, lol, but just remember that everything is based on weight. There are also meat options that are displayed on cards, you can bring with you a fixed price for a certain amount. There are so many ingredients to choose, but my always favorites are the many mushrooms! After the ingredients are selected, you will get the choice of broth and then noodle type. There is a pretty good selection of broths and noodles, but if you are not a huge fan of celery like me, then unfortunately you will notice that the majority of broths have celery listed as an ingredient in them. BUT... although my foretaste is great on celery, I went with the celery in it and absolutely loved it! The pieces were smaller than the size of the green peas that they picked out somehow hard, but allowed them all to easily avoid in my normal food. My friends and I actually discussed the celery and we think it could be an added product with all your other Ramon ingredients. We came to this final kiss that they had another kind of cripple to them even after they were discovered at the end of dinner. We assume that if they were part of the broth from the beginning, they should sit in it a while before. But we're not sure... Maybe you're not trying to ask for a celery if you're not a fan? Anyway, another thing that really stood me was once that we got our food and ate at the table, Aunt came to my friend and offered him to take the bowl from his shrimps. I didn't expect that! She made sure we had everything we needed, and then some. We would review them regularly and conduct small conversations to ensure that everything was good and that our waters were filled. Overall, I had a great first time here. 10/10 would eat again!

Best Ramen place hands down! Customer service was more than amazing. Highly recommend. They even made a baby ramen bowl for my son which he loved. Can't wait to go back. I got the seaweed broth. My son had miso. And hubby had red sour broth.
