Dave's Hawaiian Ice Cream - Honolulu

We were staying at the Ilikai and received vouchers for Keiki-sized meals, which were just right for me. While the flavors weren't particularly strong, they did have options we enjoyed. They offer free meals for kids, and both sugar cones and cake cones are complimentary. However, the wait can be long, and there aren't many seating options available.

The aroma of the waffle cones in this shop is absolutely irresistible—a delightful allure! The ice cream I tried was delicious, and I appreciate that they're open late, until 10 PM. I decided to enjoy my treat while watching an ice hockey game.

De-licious! My friends and I had a triple scoop chocolate macadamia nut sundae with hot fudge, caramel, macadamia nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The waffle bowl was thin, perfectly crispy, and had a great flavor. Also had a shaved ice with pineapple, guava, and coconut. Best shaved ice I've had on any island since they use natural flavors. No neon, fake colors here! The coconut flavor was the only miss for me. The pineapple and guava tasted fresh and yummy. Also, the woman who helped us was really nice!

Limited hours, but so worth the wait. Great service and seriously Ono flavors! A must try if you are in or near the Ilikai. Specials on Tuesday and a Military Monday deal.
