Elvin's Bakery - Honolulu

Chocolate chip cookies are great! You have to try. They are very crispy and fresh. Some of the best I had in a while. Also shortbread cookies are good.

I was told about this bakery and decided to try it out. The cake I bought was very good! It was fresh and well done. I would recommend this bakery if you have a sweet tooth, or shopping for a birthday cake as I was. Quality is much better than Baskin Robbins. My second visit is when I got the chocolate room and the mangomousse.

They offer the best moon cakes around! Their bread and various types of cakes are also incredibly tasty. The owners are very friendly and even came out to assist me in selecting the moon cakes. Just keep in mind that moon cakes are seasonal items. They've been in business since 2003, and I can't believe I only discovered them now—what a pity!

My wife bought the Red Velvet cake for a coworker from Elvin's and raved about it. So I decided to get the Tiramisu cake for my dad's birthday. I called the day before to put in my order which went fine, then picked it up the following day. The lady that helped me was nice and showed me my order to ensure I was happy with it. Very reasonably priced. Other local bakeries charge twice as much for the same quality. The cake itself looked pretty and it tasted good. They use white cake instead of lady fingers, and I'm not sure if there is an alcohol used in it, so it wasn't quite as tasty as a traditional Tiramisu. I liked that it wasn't too sweet, though. Overall, I was happy with it. According to my wife, the Red Velvet is the best she's ever had but I didn't personally try that one, yet. A great bakery to get cakes for your special occasions.

I love this bakery and I consistently come here to get cake for all my special people several times every year for the last few years. I always get Japanese cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake Omg these cakes are delicious and I can't choose so I get both each time!
