Sushi was so fresh. Small place but very popular. Got lucky with a 20 min wait on Sunday night.Sashimi was out of this world ?
Walked past this place too many times during our stay in Waikiki, went there on our last night of our honeymoon. Had to wait approx 15-20 mins to be seated, which was expected as it’s a popular place but limited seating and tables. Suggest to book a time if you don’t like waiting.Service was friendly and food came out in good time. It was all very well made and presented, and tasted great.Would suggest to offer other wine options on the menu as the Chardonnay I ordered was disgusting. I love my wine and would never leave a glass of wine unfinished but I could only drink a few sips which was disappointing.Cost of food is pricey but it’s on par for what you expect to pay in Waikiki.Nice atmosphere in which you can watch the chefs prepare your food if you were sitting at the sushi bar.Overall nice place if you’re looking for a pricey but good sushi dinner.
My family and I have always tried to enjoy a good sushi place that was quick and good but never really managed to like sushi at the places we tried out back home in Dallas. Furusato sushi was the very first to be able to win us over and I am very grateful to the staff there for providing us with such a great experience.
This is hands down the best Sushi I have ever had. I am from California and I have not experienced anything quite like this. The fish is fresh and the sushi is well crafted. Service is phenomenal. I will be coming back during my next trip to Waikiki.
