Fantastic local market with beautiful fresh organic produce. Great variety of vegetables fruits, spices, oils, unique local products oh the baked goods! We has an amazing home baked cookie on their lovely benches, under the shade of there trees. The staff are amazing kind friendly and knowledgeable. If you cook this is the place to shop. It is right next door to the Hale Mahana Student Apartments.
Great place for local, natural food. Stay away from the big box stores, but here if you can. Support local. Support real food.
Kind staff at this little, well-organised natural foods cooperative. It was nice to see some brands that are not usually available elsewhere, including local dried venison (jerkey chips) and lots of fresh produce from the islands. The hot foods counter emitted some wonderful smells… and this grocery shop is also a popular spot to grab a cup of to-go coffee.Nice, shaded sitting area out back.Parking is behind the shop.
This is my favorite place to shop for groceries in Honolulu! They have mostly local products. They have amazing eggs from O'ahu or the Big Island; beef, pork, and chicken from Moloka'i, O'ahu or the Big Island, local cheeses, and Moloka'i venison. You can't get better quality, or fresher animal products anywhere. They also have local fruits and veggies, many of which are donated from members' yards. Where else can you try five types of mangos or cannonball avocados? I love seeing what interesting fruits they have each time I go. They also have the best bananas and chocolate chip pecan cookies anywhere! Please support local and shop Kokua Market. No need to have a membership to shop either.
