By COVID-19 you cannot immerse yourself, but you can take your food and eat it in your car. The food is super delicious, I went back to breakfast almost daily during my stay because it was super affordable, they packed so much food for a serving and the taste is incredible. Everyone who works there was very nice and welcoming. I encourage you to try. Better then so many other restaurants nearby that you have more for less quality food.
I heard about the Rainbow Drive-Ins in the late 80s and lived it when we had it in 87. They have only become more popular since then. Good cheap food. The meat options are excellent, including ground beef patty, Linguica, and my personal favorite, spam. I also have to get a macaroni salad.
I really like their menu options! And decent prices, but certain dishes may seem a little underseasoned. Not the best outdoor seats, but it's still a fixed place! Try the ice cream slam!
This place is pretty cool beautiful vibes and good food! I had the traditional Loco moco, and it was quite delicious for a guy who is not a big fan of Gravy. It mixes well together. Two eggs, two rice balls, two burger patties that were lubricated with gravity and one side of macaroni salad. Definitely recommend trying this place! You also have a nice little gift shop.
Whoever created this dish is literally genius. Not going to lie, it looks quite unassuming but it is straight up delicious! Crispy fried egg with grilled burger patty on fluffy white rice smothered with aromatic gravy and a side of creamy macaroni salad. Sounds like some frankenfood but they go unbelievably well together!
