Michel's At The Colony Surf - Honolulu

An amazing setting on the ocean with quality service and excellent food. Although some might consider the tableside preparation of some dishes Caesar salad and lobster bisque old fashioned, it brings back a time that has passed and one I personally have no issues with.The one thing that IMHO could be improved is the wine service. We ordered the 'premium wine pairing' with the tasting menu. Our service bought out wine already poured from the 'kitchen' and informed us of the varietal and where from nothing about vintage and label and even this minimal presentation was difficult to hear given she was somewhat quiet and wearing a mask. I prefer a sommelier to pour at the table while providing more information about the specific wine

We went to Michel’s for our Anniversary dinner! It was amazing from the food to the wine parings to the atmosphere! Loved it. Very special

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and professional staff. Food was exceptional as well. We will definitely be back
