We ordered the Filipino Lemonade, Blackened Ahi Sandwich, Adobo Pork Belly Bowl, Spicy Ahi Roll, truffle fries, large Banana Poi bread, and brownies. Everything was delicious, but the best is the Ahi Sandwich and the Adobo Pork Belly Bowl. Great flavor on both dishes and the Pork Belly is so tender. I love the crunch on the Ahi Roll and Sandwich too! Make sure to get the Banana Poi Bread, you won't regret it!! We decided to save the deserts for later. They both stayed moist and the banana poi bread was especially good and keeps well in the fridge for a morning snack in the hotel. Highly recommend stopping by
While I was waiting for my car as it was being serviced at a local dealership, I search Google Maps for nearby restaurants. I am so glad that I decided on this restaurant! It was a little hard to find, but worth it. The customer service was great, and I was really happy with her recommendations. The Olena Burger is actually the best burger I've eaten on this island, and the truffle fries were so delicious! I was sad that my toddler ate all of it. I almost didn't order the Filipino lemonade because I thought it may be too sour with calamansi, but the pineapple gave it the right balance.
Delicious and fresh lemonades! The cashier is the best! So loving, caring and insightful. We loved the delicious fish chips. Mahalo!
OMG, I just had the apple strudel at this place and it was just heavenly!!!! The lady who has helped me Rose, was super nice, I really enjoyed talking to her. Even the chef himself came out of the kitchen to say Hi. The place is super clean, it is easy to see that it is run by a true professional. Chef Ron really cares about the food he makes and he only accepts perfection. My apple strudel was so good that I am returning here to grab lunch for my kids! Highly recommend!
I looked up ‘good food by the airport’ and this place came up. I’m sort of disappointed they disrespected this restaurant with ‘good’… this place is GREAT, AMAZING, WORTH A TRIP TO HAWAII FOR! Ha! The food was fresh, super tasty and the service was phenomenal. Rose was so sweet… sharing her opinion about what we would like and even ran to the car to check to see if we liked it, give us a ‘palate cleansing tea’ and a chocolate chip ‘cookie for your flight’. Our ‘fish and chips’ was made with mahi mahi which tasted like it was swimming in the ocean this morning… bbq brisket bowl was delectable, sweet, tangy, melted in our mouth… everything was delicious down to the pineapple Cole slaw they put on top as a ‘garnish’. We also had. ‘Filipino lemonade’ made with Calamansi!!! If you want really really tasty Hawaiian/asian fusion without the frills COME HERE! I’ve done Michelin stars when necessary but for me it’s the ‘hole in the wall’ ‘slap yo momma’ meals I prefer. I told my agent who took my bags and showed her pictures she said she was going while on her break! Hahahah
