Service was very good. We thought it was too expensive for the quality of the food. Too much noise.....décor average. I liked the crab broth!
First time we have ever ordered a speciality roll that was just plain horrible. Service was also terrible. Wouldn’t recommend this Resturant ever

Raw seafood is always my concern but I 'm never worried whenever I dine at Sansei. Fresh, raw fish should not ever smell fishy. If it does, then you know it 's old or spoiled. Sansei 's excellent chefs are trained to select the most freshest fish and it 's kept in a chilled environment so that it does not go bad. Whenever I 'm looking for consistently fresh fish, with a variety of sushi options, I always think of Sansei. Oh, and by the way, we ordered their aged beef, and served it pupu -style . This means it 's cooked and sliced, and meant to be shared, like an appetizer. That, and along with the foie gras sushi, was so ono (delicious)!
