Scratch Kitchen Meatery - Honolulu

This is a lovely little brunch spot! The staff were welcoming, and the food was enjoyable overall. I found the chicken and waffles to be average; the chicken was great, but the waffle itself was quite basic. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits, and he absolutely loved it! It looked delicious, but since I don’t eat pork, I couldn't sample it. The drinks were flavorful, although not very strong. I would definitely return to explore more items on the menu!

I discovered this restaurant online and decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! The fried deviled eggs were a delightful surprise, with the jalapeño on top being the standout feature. I ordered the Pretty Boy wrap (vegan option) and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. However, I wasn't very impressed with the Berry Collins drink. My fiancé had the country gravy fried chicken and biscuits, and he said it was decent but a bit too salty for his taste.

I visited this restaurant for a special breakfast with close friends who were in town. They suggested we go there, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared a bite of each one, all of which were delicious. The portion sizes were just right as well. The highlight of the experience, though, was the company. I can't wait to bring another guest next time!

Love the quality of the food here! The brussel sprouts were cooked to be crispy and carmelized beautifully. The Scratch loco moco with pork adobo and sunny side egg made me feel nostalgic as a Filipino! The garlic rice was wasn't too overpowering. The pork was flavorful and not too heavy for brunch. Service at this restaurant was also great at answering any questions and fulfilling any special requests I had. I would definitely come back again next time I'm in Honolulu.

Let me tell you I've never been so torn about leaving a review before!
