Summer Cafe - Honolulu

My first time here and I was so sad to see that it was their last day. They had such a cute vibe and I'm so sad that I only found out about them today. We ordered the brown sugar milk tea and signature Thai coconut milk which were sooo yummy. I wish the business owners the best in their next endeavors!

I'm really gonna miss this place! Their drinks were flavorful without being super sugar-laden! The service is possibly the most consistently friendly that I've experienced at any boba or drink cafe in my life, and because of that, this place became my go-to for online class! They close on 01/15/22, so anyone looking to get a last drink or three should come down and let them go out on top!

Well, it's a very cute looking place. Clean and large area if you wanted to seat. We ordered a mango smoothie, pineapple smoothie, and a Thai coconut tea. They were made with fresh fruit, we got them all at 50% sweetness. So they were okay. Nothing spectacular, I don't think I'd comes here again. It's not for us. I wanted to like it, but the fruit wasn't very sweet. The smoothie was more icy than flavorful. But service was awesome and she was very friendly. The drinks were made quickly. The place is clean and everything. I also think the prices weren't bad. It just wasn't for my family and I.

Came here for a late milk tea run, but neither of us even got milk tea, instead some other drinks caught our eye. The cafe looks pristine, almost brand new; it was well lit inside and I could see it being a place to get work done or reading once they open for dine in. It was also very spacious in case the pandemic has you crowd-phobic. Parking is free in the front and was easy to access from Kapahulu. For our order, I got the Strawberry Cheese while my boyfriend ordered the Okinawa Brown Sugar Milk. I absolutely loved my Strawberry Cheese! It was creamy and had real fruit in it; none of the artificial strawberry nonsense. And the cheese on top was perfect, silky smooth and easy to drink through the straw, that tangy cream cheese flavor, but sweetened to compliment the strawberry. I definitely want to go back and get another order! The Okinawa Brown Sugar Milk was also simple but really good. I feel that a lot of places serve drinks that are over the top; Summer Cafe knows what it's doing without having to try too hard.

Yummm. They had one person working behind the counter so it took about 5 minutes or so for our drink so we were glad it wasn't busy. Definitely a must try if you like fresh mango.
