This is the worst Chili's-EVER!! Deep fried food was soggy/greasy, Hair in the hamburger, the noisiest restaurant and lowlife patrons. McDonald's would have been better.
Decent prices. Buffalo chicken wrap 👠cheesy tater tots ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Good grub, cheap prices. Great spot for take out ... but you really have no choice, since there 's no seating area. The Grubus is easy to spot during the week, when they 're open from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. They 're located in an industrial area, close to Keehi Lagoon. I swing by on a Monday to grab several lunch items to go. They no longer have their specials on themed days. Instead, their specials are available daily ... but they changed their line up (no more Meatball Mondays. I was sad, since I specifically came for that). But, there 's still lots on the menu to pick from, whether you 're in the mood for burgers, sliders, salads, wraps, hot dogs or beef. Everything is made to order to guarantee freshness. Even though I order four items, I don 't have to wait a long time. Here 's a sampling of what I got: Chicago Dog : This dog comes topped with the works mustard, relish, freshly chopped onions, tomatoes, kosher pickle, sport peppers and celery salt piled onto a steamed poppyseed bun and a side of fries. I actually like my hot dog plain, so the boyfriend ate most of this one. He said the bun was super moist, but the dog was lacking in flavor, tasting like an ordinary hot dog. Hmm, maybe they were having an off day, since this truck is known for their Chicago fare. I 'm down to try one of the other dogs on the menu, but of all the things we ordered, this was not our favorite. Hopefully they were just having an off day, though, cause other reviews rave about this dog. Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap : I was craving something slightly healthier, so I went for the most popular wrap on the menu. It featured grilled chicken breast, buffalo ranch sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese blend wrapped in a flour tortilla. Apparently, I had my choice of flour, spinach or tomato flavors, but no one asked. Next time, I would get spinach. Hawaiian Bus Burger : I was debating between this burger and the original Bus burger, since they 're the top two picks under the burgers section. But, I ended up going with Hawaiian because it was really different with that pineapple salsa. This burger includes teriyaki sauce, American cheese, the pineapple salsa and grilled onions and comes with a side of fries. Now, this burger was juicy and yummy (1/3 lb. Angus beef). The pineapple salsa, coupled with the teriyaki sauce, gave it a sweeter aftertaste, which I really enjoyed. Second City Sliders : This entrée comes with not three, but four mini burgers grilled on a bed of onions and served on steamed buns topped with mustard, ketchup and a kosher pickle chip and a side of fries. What a bang for my buck! The sliders were not the best I 'd ever tasted, but the meat patty was good and the buns tasted fresh. I just couldn 't get over the great deal. Plus, this came with fries. I love crinkle cut fries, and most of the entrées come with them. Just be sure to eat them while they 're piping hot ... it won 't taste the same later on. Shrimp Tacos : These tacos are super popular, but now you can get them every day ... not only on Taco Tuesday. They feature two baja style shrimp tacos topped with Romaine, cheddar blend, homemade salsa and baja sauce. I would be down to try these one day just cause I love shrimp tacos, but I would probably order it with the salsa on the side (depending on how hot it is). Burritos : During the time of my visit, Grubus had just introduced burritos and bowls to their menu. It almost sounded like Chipotle, so I can 't wait to revisit and order one of these. Burritos/bowls include cilantro lime rice, your choice of black or refried beans (I would skip the beans) and your choice of steak, chicken or kalua pig (I would get chicken or kalua pig). Then, you choose from an assortment of veggies and condiments. I would go for Romaine, cheddar blend, sour great and chopped
Love everything I tried here so far from their all beef burgers to their latest on the menu, the Burritos!!! If you don't know or can't decide what you want, just ask the cook what her suggestion is and you won't go wrong. They offer 10% off for 1st responders and Military.
