Tropic's Diner - Honolulu

Our waiter Andrew was outstanding. The service was quick and efficient, and the food and drinks were excellent. The island atmosphere was fantastic, and we really appreciated the variety on the menu. Just a heads up, though: it's on the pricier side, and you may have to wait a bit for a table.

Situated conveniently within the Hilton Hawaiian Village, this restaurant was one of the few places open late when we arrived in Honolulu. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and even during busy periods, we were seated quickly. During our stay at the Hilton, we frequently dined here. While it is a bit pricey, the food is excellent, and the drinks were enjoyable with generous portion sizes. Additionally, there were plenty of vegetarian options available. Before leaving, I had to scan a QR code to complete a COVID form.

We had shrimps and chips, bacon cheeseburger and the nachos with a salad. The French fries were cold, so he brought us a plate with steaming hot frits that were excellent. The food was good. The location is beautiful outside sitting very close to the beach.

Very expensive and with decent food. The drinks are also good. If you don't have another option, I'd go here. Your appetizers were good. You have a beautiful sunset view of the beach with outdoor seating. Enjoyed the mood and the food. Since it is in the Hawaiian village, you pay for the price.

We used the Tropics for breakfast each morning while staying at the Rainbow Tower. Currently there are not many options as the buffet is not open. It depended who you got as a server as to how good the service was, but overall it was really good. More importantly the food was excellent and pretty good value for money.
