Bottom line: Excellent local foodNo frills, good food that is authentic.

I had the Hawaiian Bowl with Kalua pig, poke, and lomi salmonThe bowl was packed to the top and it was delicious.

Probably more of a 3.5 than a 4 but giving a 4 for flavor and the diversity of the menu.

A down to earth local lunch place. What the food lacks in presentation it more than makes up for by being delicious and hearty. The beef stew is great, and Big Al 's small bento is packed with meat and veg.

Got a spicy ahi poké bowl. The ahi was okay, very small portion compared to other places around and extremely overpriced.
