Po Lee - Hook

Placed order over the phone on my way back from a long day out, at no point was I advised about payment issues. When I arrived to collect and pay via contactless I was told they don’t take this, the lady made it out to be my fault for not bringing my “plastic card” and refused a bank transfer. Obviously had to leave it but can’t believe the rudeness tbh. Went to Rice in Yateley instead :

Food is brilliant and very tasty but can not say the same for the lady behind the counter. 2 occasion's now she has taken payment and lost the order. Tonight I waited 1hr spoke to the lady who frantically rushed around looking for my order and then when I got it home it was cold. Disappointing Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

Perfect Chinese around the Hook/Hartley Witney area. Great tasting food, quite staff and not much to be said but their food speaks a thousand words Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

Honest review! Great food, but mediocre portions (unless you order large portions). Prices are reasonable. However, if you want to purchase anything less than £10, you cannot use a debit card...cash only. P.s, there are no cash points in the area (at least 3 miles to the nearest one), to which I believe is Evetham Heath). Very clever...Not. Just lost out on a lot of business from 'passing through ' customers! Meal type: Dinner
