Moss Rock Tacos Tequila - Hoover

Delicious food and fantastic staff! They offer street tacos in a variety of flavors, along with an excellent menu selection. The wait times are short, and the service is very welcoming. There's a great selection of beers and the margaritas are exceptional! Plus, it's a kid-friendly environment, making it a perfect place for the entire family to enjoy!

I recently dined at this restaurant to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. I arrived before the rest of my party and used the time to chat with the hostess and a waitress about their recommendations. Both were incredibly friendly and eager to share their favorite dishes and drinks. I ended up trying a chicken and carnita taco, along with tater tots and a blackberry/jalapeno margarita. I found both tacos to be delicious, but the carnita was truly outstanding. For those reviewers who have expressed concerns about the waitstaff, I suggest giving them some time to settle in—they’ll figure things out. After all, the restaurant has only been open for two weeks. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive. If it's your first visit, please approach the experience with a supportive, kind, and patient mindset towards the staff. Enjoy life, relish those margaritas and tacos, and take a moment to relax.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the menu was quite unique. The service we received was outstanding. We started our meal with a prickly pear margarita and a Trophy Wife margarita (the lighter option). For our appetizer, we had the grilled street corn and chips with queso, both of which were delicious! I ordered the fish taco while my husband chose the pork. We ended our meal with the bread pudding for dessert, and we loved everything! Mark was our server and provided excellent service. I can't wait to return!

This place has the right name, Moss Rock Tacos and Tequila really ROCKS. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, a place where you can enjoy and be yourself not to mention the best margaritas in town. If you haven't tried it you should, don't wait go today.

This place is awesome! Rock and Roll Music is fantastic! Huge bar and seating area! Service is crisp and on point! The owner even came out to talk! Outside seating! Ice Cold Beverages! Nice to see a real Tequila bar in Birmingham....Since I have visited many in Texas!
