The Maynard - Hope Valley

We visited The Maynard for our friend's wedding and it was fantastic. We only saw the place at night, but it was a great location and we will definitely come back. The rooms were excellent, the service was top-notch, and the location was perfect. We highly recommend The Maynard for any event or stay.

Wedding of the Year! We are so grateful to The Maynard and all of their staff for making our wedding day truly fantastic. From the moment we arrived the night before, to the end of our stay, Lisa and Charlotte went above and beyond for us. The attention to detail, care for our guests, and the way they brought our vision to life was amazing. If you're considering getting married here, don't hesitate. We had our wedding here two weeks ago and it was brilliant. The Maynard Team were friendly, professional and their attention to detail was impeccable. Special mention to Lisa, Leah and Josh who were absolutely on it and made sure everything went to plan on the day. Found this gem after a few Google searches and glad to say we were not disappointed at all! We did not stay in the hotel but went to The Maynard for an evening celebratory meal that tasted incredible and was well cooked. Mains were the Pork dish and Sirloin steak, cooked to perfection with lovely accompaniments. We were served by the lovely Kezia who was friendly, personable and provided a great table service during our meal. The restaurant had low ambient lighting, with gentle music and the light chatter of dining guests. It was a great environment, with beautifully set tables and comfortable seating. We enjoyed our meal so much that we are planning to return in the next couple of days, and looking at a potential long weekend stay at the hotel in the future. The on-shift manager was wonderful and able to accommodate our request to re-book for another meal during our stay in the Peak District. I recently visited this wedding venue and I was extremely impressed. The rooms were top-notch, the service was exceptional, and the location was beautiful. The hotel itself is luxurious and offers a stunning view. I highly recommend this venue for any special event.
