We were in town for the Rambo First Blood 40th Anniversary. On Saturday 8th October we went to breakfast and asked some locals where we had breakfast. Two gentlemen said Sharon's Deli on Wallace Street. We went in, took our seats at a table and ordered the breakfast special. $7.95 for two eggs, two toast and jam and two strips of bacon. Nicely presented, we started to eat and, my God! In my 77 years of eating breakfast all over the planet, the best of all time! I've slowed down to enjoy every gum! Thank you. Sharon and staff! We came to one of the Gents who addressed us and asked if we followed his recommendation. He was very happy and enthusiastic with our answers. Huge smile around and lick lips!
We are local and love to come here for lunch. The cook salad is the best we ever had. Fresh salad, lots of meat and cheese. A complete meal. Soups and sandwiches are always good. Locals love this place. The decor is misleading, but ignore it and enjoy your breakfast or lunch inside, outside or above the street in the park. We even brought a lunch to Harrison Hot Springs.
Visits with family. We were on our way in very hot weather. We only had sandwiches. Nothing special, but the day they were exactly what we needed.
A place that oozes local colour. Friendly, efficient service great wholesome food served up promptly. Limited seating opposit the downtown city park.
