Fundy Rocks - HOPEWELL CAPE

If you enjoy views of the Bay of Fundy, privacy in your own cottage, overwhelming smell of cat urine and a space that is in desperate need of a clean then this is the place for you.So much potential here but the cottages we stayed in are in VERY rough shape. We had to vacuum and clean before we could even bring in our things. Despite the air fresheners and lysol we purchased to try and make the room bearable, the smell remained awful. Everything wreaked of damp including the towels and bedsheets. So much so, that the salamanders in the bathroom felt quite at home. Clearly it had not been cleaned in quite some time given the large quantity of bugs and cobwebs everywhere. A very gross experience.

Everything about the motel was great the staff , the owner , the resteraunt. The room was musty smelling and also the towels even though they were freshly washes. It may have been something to do with the water. Plus, the bed was absolutely not comfortable . Other than that, the motel itself is

The motel strongly need some investment . The humidity smell is very strong, even the sheets smell funny. Please put more effort on the cleaning. Its not normal to see black durry hand marks around doors and switches. Only the room needs more. The building and restaurent is ok. I was very disappointed for this one. The rooms were dated, not clean, and just outright gungy looking. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the main room. Not to mention the Wifi was brutal. 1/5 for this one, if you can. Highly recommend you avoid and find somewhere closer to Moncton.

The Fundy Rocks motel should be renamed the fundy flops motel.The server Sharron was nice enough but forced to work even while sick.The guy running the placed seemed to care less whether we stayed and were happy or not. At one point I was sitting outside the room and the lawn care gentleman (probably the owners father) started cutting the grass towards me, I kindly asked him if he would mind cutting anywhere else and not shooting clipping towards me and my vehicle and the old mans responce was I want you leave anyways . Where he continued to cut grass in my direction. When I brought this to the attention of the owner who just laughed at the situation and responded the old man is harmless , He may be but the rocks and whatnot that could have been kicked up at me would be less harmless.To top off this lovely visit at fundy rocks motel where the rooms smelled of mold and cat ****, there was not even a jesture to make these issues right.We ordered lobster dinners one night and the portions were decent so I ordered another plate the second night. The portons of lobster where half the size again the was no efforts to make it right simply a responce of if you didnt order the lobster yesterday you wouldn 't have noticed the differance in size... one would figure for a $40 lobster plate you would get some consistancy, not the case.Wish I could give negitive stars and warn all others. It it were not for the location I 'd say tearing it down it would be an improvement.Rooms: Dirty and bug filled, smells of moldNearby activities: Hopewell rocks.
