A wonderful place for a great meal. Good value for money and the Jaegerschnitzel was delicious. Beautiful 10-12 minutes drive from Scheffau am Wilder Kaiser. Since there is no street number on Trip Advisor, I have relied on the location function. You have to go further than the pen falls.

Disputed to protect himself from rain when he visits the lake. We only had coffee, so can not comment, but they were very nice and service was fast. I'd like to see you again.

We were stationed in Germany and visited here many times. This trip was a family vacation with teens. They enjoyed the entire Scheffau area, and all agreed this was a great restaurant. We have had both lunch and dinner here... the food was always great...and plentiful. A can't miss if you're in the area.

This restaurant is located right on the lake, which makes it beautiful. The food is Austrian with large portions. I wouldn't judge it as being amazing coz I've tasted better. It's the only restaurant in that area so you'd might as well eat there if...you're hungry. We ordered the fried mushrooms and garlic onion soup which were good. We also ordered the cheese dumplings, spinach dumplings and crusted salmon- all good but not special. We also had the deer which was dry and was served with dumplings which were dry and bland. There's a playground for the kids. If you have no option, then you should come here.

Bei schönem Wetter ist das Restaurant leider zu gut besucht. Trotzdem kam die Bedienung damit gut zurecht. Das Essen ist allerdings nicht besonders. Form-Pommes-Frites, ein Grillteller mit Wiener Würstchen (Frankfurter) etc.
