This was a quick stop with friends after some wine tasting and visiting. We had the very and goat cheese salad and the sweet potato grilled cheese. The crust was crispy and tasty! Service was fast and friendly. The apple crumb was a little bland. Cute market in the back with deli type items.
We were there an hour for lunch after an excellent morning. Four other tables were occupied, waitresses engaged with us three times, taking our order, delivering the sandwiches, and getting our payment. They missed their opportunity to sell us another wine, beer and refill our water glasses. Food and atmosphere were good.
So many FLIES.... Food is great, we ate outside Brought our dog, but the FLIES are ridiculous, check out photos and videos..... and I think it 's because they keep their trash in closet on patio ..... COULDN 'T TAKE A BITE WITHOUT having first swat a fly . .. I mentioned to the waitess and were told well if you want to bring your dog you get the flies
Sadly, we were not able to experience the food as we were turned away at the door for being a large group (10 adults). According to the rude hostess, they do not take groups larger than 6, even though there was only 1 couple in the patio and no one inside the restaurant. We had been driving for a while and were hungry, but I guess they are so well off they rather not accommodate our large group of 10 and have a nearly empty restaurant instead or should I dare say it was because we are hispanics? Needless to say, in the end, we were glad not to have spent our money in this kind of establishment. A couple of the reviews I read describe this restaurant as high end, but if being high end means treating people the way we were treated, then I'm glad we're on the lower end.
