Herradero Taqueria - Horn Lake

This restaurant is an ideal destination for authentic Mexican flavors. The food was outstanding! I tried the Carne Asada Estilo Hondureño, which was delicious grilled beef prepared in the Honduran style, served with a spicy slaw. My wife ordered the Super Alambre, which reminded her of a Philly cheesesteak, and she paired it with a horchata that wasn’t too sweet. The staff was very friendly, and even though their English was a bit limited, it wasn’t a problem at all. The menu is available in both English and Spanish, complete with pictures of each dish, making it easy to decide what to order. I will definitely be back soon since there are so many more dishes I want to try!

This is undoubtedly the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! It was incredibly flavorful and truly authentic. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was accompanied by the tastiest Mexican rice I've ever tried, while my husband enjoyed a seafood soup that he absolutely loved. Everything was fantastic! You absolutely have to visit this restaurant! We will definitely be coming back!

The authentic Mexican food served here is absolutely delightful! While they don't provide tortilla chips and salsa, which would be a perfect pairing with the Modelo, that won't deter us from returning every week!

Authentic Mexican cuisine! Unlike the Tex-Mex offerings available in many places, this restaurant truly delivers a genuine culinary experience. You know you've found a gem when you're the only non-Hispanic person in the establishment! The service is incredibly warm and welcoming. The papusas are exceptional. I tried the shrimp ceviche tostada, and it was incredibly fresh and tasty. And, of course, the carne asada taco is a classic favorite. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. I will definitely be back again and again!
