Blue Bell Inn - Horncastle

Been here a few times normally okay however this time, we were over charged by almost a tenner for what we ordered.

This is a pub from the Wetherspoons folkIt is quite a large pub with plenty of seating and standing room.

The blue bell inn is an aa recommended pub, functions in the good pub guide, appears in the michelin 'going out in pubs' guide as well as praised by the natives. must be good? the blue bell inn is located in the lincolnshire wolds and dates from the 18th century, is a relatiw small pub serving the local and wanderers (it falls along the viking way a hot spot for walkers). they are not mudy boots friendly but and politely request they are left in the lobby. the pub itself serves a standard program of spirits, weeping and laying as well as two to three guestales on the tap. The relaxed nature of the pub is that they can sit in the pub and enjoy a pint at the fire, they can eat in the pub or in the dining room.

Beautiful cozy pub on our Roman/Viking walk of the lincolnshire wolds. very friendly staff and great sandwiches. we had the brie and bacon as well as the mushrooms and cheese one. accompanied by a beautiful pint of batemans ale. ready for more run!

Beautiful village pub. cozy atmosphere. large beer and good choice of meal times. better than the standard Pub tariff. understandably popular, so book to be sure that a table.
