Excellent food, very good service. Next to the municipal swimming pool. Wonderful views across the embalse.

After a beautiful hike of 9 km to the lake and back, we had a lovely lunch here, out on the terrace with fabulous views of the lake and the municipal swimming pool (opens in July). Very efficient and attentive service (no English spoken though), good food, lovely flan with coffee and complementary liqueur for dessert. Absolutely worth the detour!

What a view! Restaurante las Celadillas was thankfully open on Monday when we needed lunch (at least two other places in Hornos was closed). The restaurant is next to the Municipal Pool which overlooks the El Tranco reservoir. Parking is right outside the door and as soon as you walk in it has a nice feel with seating inside or out on the beautiful terrace with lots of (welcome) shade. The toilets are also clean and spacious, clearly catering for any potential disabled customers. From start to finish we had great service from a lovely young man friendly, helpful efficient. We were served two lots of lovely tapa with our two rounds of drink, followed by a nice salad lunch, and as a really nice surprise non alcoholic chupitos to finish. A fantastic choice!
